as Tolak finishes his speech Werner waits to see if Olvairx has anything to add to the speech before moving out and gearing up he has been looking forward to a mission like this as he was getting sick of the bullshit recons he had been doing the last few times.

As his squad enters the ante-chamber Olvarix closes the door as the last man enters. Waiting for his men to settle down. He moves to the middle of room with his hand behind his back, the sound of the leather squeaking has he clenches his fist. His face turns grim and in low serious tone "I should give each of you ten lashes for the your conduct in there! You are ment to be elite!" He then paces in front of the men still facing them as he walks. "Yet you all carried on like some Childrens Academy Colour Guard. You are Imperial Guardsmen! Let's try to act like it, at least in presence of our commander"

Olvarix Adjust his hat so that it sits higher on his head and moves his hands to the front. "Now time to get down to the business of killing scum on the name of the Emperor" A small smirk forms at the edge of his mouth.

"So our landing is going be quick and precice, we are going be dropped in a clearing of the jungle appox 50 miles from the Shrine. So we are going have to hump it for at least two weeks, we wont have any support on this so we are going to need rations for at least five to seven days." Olvarix starts to relax a little more now that he is out of site of his commanding officers. "Resistance is expected to be high so I don't want to be standing there with my dick swinging in the breeze. So plenty of ammo. There are reports of many Ammo and armour dumps dotted though out the area. When we can we will raid then blow them up. May as well use the Traitors tools against them. Stealth is going to be key in this mission, hit them hard and fast then vanish in to the Jungle. I want you all in your jungle BDU, blacken anything thing that shines, silence all that clanks. We will also need a flamer, cleanse the the Traitors and keep the jungle back."

Looks at his men "Our extraction point is going to be a bit of fun. It is going to be seven miles from the Shrine, but we will have to wait till an atillary barrage clears out the area for our transport to arrive, so make sure that comm equipment doen't get lost, broken or wet. I want it working since I don't want my arse blown up"

"The jungle it self hold it's own dangers, come crocodile creatures roam the waterways and there are tiger likes ones too, so we will need to keep an eye out for them. That's it stay in the briefing room and act like the elite Guardsmen that you say you are! "

Turns to Tolak "Sergent Tolak make all the preperations you need for the drop, get them orginised with the imformation I have given you. When I got the maps of the area make what ever tactics you see fit the insertion. Just remeber stealth will be key. We are up against superior numbers and armour. The failure or sucess of the mission on the ground will be in your leadership there." Olvarix taps his holserted Bolt pistol "So will be the consequences"

"yes, Commisar" Tolack bited out after the rebuking.
"May I Have a word with you about our baggage" his eyes glancing towards the engenseer that has silently followed the squad into the antichamber " I have no doubts about my boys ability to move through the scrub down there, but him..." tolak says with a concerned look on his face. "and may I ask sir if we are going in to babysit a temple.. why do we need him"

Olvarix turns back from Tolack to face the platoon that has gathered. "I'll let Enginseer Edinte explain his mission to us." His eyes moves towards Enginseer Edinte "And would you be able to keep with us when we are planetside or will we need to carry you?"

Werner leans towards Quintas and asks him quietly " who's this guy, you know him?...he dont look much to me"

Quintas gives a hard once over on the man, the thick robes barely revealing anything beneath their exterior. Narrowing his brows he leans towards Werner ."I 'ave no friggin' idea bud, I've seen their type before though, .... they tend to hold their own." With that he shrugs and scans the room.

The Tech-priest enginseer shuffles forward slightly, thick volumous robes concealing his features, his face shrouded in hooded depths. Two piecing atrificial eyes glitter from the depths of the darkness. The symbol of the Adeptus Mechanicus, a skull, half-bone and half-machine, set against the background of a black and white cog glares from the front of his robe.
He speaks in a piercing whisper, with a clearly mechanical droning undertone. "Mine is the will of the machine-god Commisaar, as you well know. I am here for the emperors purpose of which only I am fit to carry out. You may well need my knowledge of the intricacies of the machine-cult to achieve your results. If you expect to find and procure vehicles to carry your purpose, I will be the instrument you call upon to set them on the path."
He looks from Commisaar Olvarix to sergeant Tolak "I will not labour your speed or stealth and my usefulness will vastly outweigh any pre conceived shortfalls. I will not need to be carried."
With a hissing sound the enginseer turns and moves back to the rear of the group where he takes up a station in the shadows.

Werner notices the symbol on the man's robe and relises he is a tech-priest he leans towards Quintas and says " mate... the enemy must have something the emperor wants, didnt notice that symbol before but ive read about these guy's he's a tech priest and your right mate from what ive read...put it this way im glad he's coming with us, and by the way cant wait to get the flamer out again we'll enjoy burning some traitors".

Olvarix watches as Enginseer Edinte walks to the back of the room then faces the waiting troops once more. "Tolak unless you have anything else to add right now, well go back in to the briefing room the High Command shall be returing any moment. I shall be getting the map and maybe more intel on the comming mission for you to devise a tacical plan for when we hit the ground. Enginseer Edinte and I will be here to give you advice on what course of action is needed." With that he strightens up his long crimson red cloak.

tolak looks back towards Olvarix and nods
"alright boys, missions objectives and specific orders will be issued following our expanded briefing"

Olvarix clears his throat. "Very well, return to the briefing room AND act like the Imperial Guradsmen that you are!." Turns and opens the door, waits till the last man leaves the room and then leaves.

Werner walks towards the briefing room to wait further orders, he cant wait to gear up and move out.

moving towards the briefing room, tolak pulls a small data slate from the breast pocket of his combat webbing, its case scratched and worn form many years of use. pausing for a moment to make sure everyone had moved into the briefing room. his fingers sliding across the slates surface, tapping keys as he begins to pull down as much Intel about recent conditions on the planet from the ships internal data networks. as he does so information begins scrolling onto the screen everything from recent reports from commanders on the ground, to local weather reports.
Noticing that everyone else had moved past him Tolak steps into the breifing room, tucking the slate back into his webbing and moves towards the front of the briefing room

After about 10 minutes the groups filter back into the room and everyone takes their seats.
“Quiet, please!” The group of five uniformed officers entered again, re-taking their seats. The General scanns the room, and nodds. “Right. It seems everyone is now present…I will not ask why some of you are late. Now that we are all here, I will give you the complete briefing.”

He coughs again. “I am hoping your contemporaries have had the initiative to fill you in on the basic mission outline. Now. Your landing site is a clearing near the edge of the jungle, fifty miles from the target site-for those who haven’t been informed yet. You will be dropped in by Valkyrie transport, with the exception of those who will be manning the Sentinel-class walkers, which will be dropped by grav-chute. You will be inserted during an orbital bombardment to keep the enemy’s attention distracted, and will also have some fighter escort: enough to act as decoys in the evnt of trouble, but few enough to, probably, not even be noticed. Extraction method is, however, far from standard. The drop zone is the only area where we can land a carrier within reasonable distance of the target site. However, several minutes before extraction, a bombardment will level an area of forest situated seven miles north-west of the temple. We are not bombarding the area yet to avoid suspicion about its location: also, the fires should aid in your finding the occasion, though it will be pinpointed on the tactical and holographic maps you will be issued with. From there, you will all be extracted by Valkyrie.”
The General pulls a piece of parchment from his top pocket. “The squad assignments and callsign allocations. Sergeant Tolak, Wolf One, Commissar Vorn, Wolf Two. Sergeant Kodro, Wolf Three. Sergeant Beslan, Wolf Four. Sergeant Otega, Wolf Five, Sergeant Delroth Wolf Six. Your billet assignments are on these dataslates.” He hands a pile of slates to the Trooper closest to him, who passes them to the relevant sergeants.

He stands and rises from the table. "Report to the landing bay at 0400 hours. Before then, I would advise getting some rest, though I doubt many of you will take the option.” He gave a small smile. “Gentlemen and ladies.” The officers rise and left the room.

OOC: You now have near enough free access to the ship: however, the pertinent facts. You are billeted individual dormitories along one corridor. There is a communal ‘recreation area’, which is essentially a vehicle hangar without the vehicles. You may also wish to visit the armoury to stock up on ammunition. You have seven hours to kill. Any problems, questions or queries, post as OOC or PM. Also use this as a chance to request gear, work with your sergeant etc as some RP to get this etc, i'll leave this before posting the drop for a couple of days for any gear changes.

Werner stands and moves to leave the room and head towards the armoury, as he arrives there he grabs a heavy flamer, side arm, grenades, spare ammo the usual kit he would normally take on a mission, because the armoury is a little crowded from other squad members Werner takes his gear and heads to his room to check over his equipment, combat gear etc and to grab some much needed shut eye.

Olvarix stands from his seat and walks over to Tolak and says "Tolak you have the tacital and holo maps, make you preperations for the landing and instruct the man in what will be needed. I will be busy at least the next hour but I and Enginseer Edinte will be availble for any advice or any thing you may need." He then walks out to the room.

He continues to walks though ship till he arrives at the ships chapel. Olvarix removes his hat and walks up to the alter and kneels at it and bows his head in pray. When he is finished his pray he stand and walks over to one of the priest that are walking around helping others that in the chaple. "Please summon the Pontifice. I want to make sure my blessing on my weapons are still intact."

After his weapons have been checked by the Pontifice, Olvarix heads to the Armoury. Pushes his way past up to the Quatermaster." I will need 10 magazines for a Bolt Pistol, 2 boxes of loose rounds, a spare chain for Chainsword, Weapon repair kits for both. Also I request combat ready carapace armour or anything better and what other defensive items do you have? Oh give me a combat knife and a full battle kit." Starts tapping his finger on the counter waiting for the Quatermaster.

Quintas and Dioceltian fall into step with Sergeant Tolak as he moves to the armoury, their familiar weapons gathered and at their sides. "Yo sarge, anything extra ya' want us to grab?
As they move along several other squad members have also fallen into step with the strange Enginseer moving behind the group to follow as well.

looking up from his data pad and he weaves through the crowded hallway, sergent Tolak pauses as a lumbering servitore moves past him. looking back towards his squad
Standard load-out, but get it in jungle pattern. and grab some melta bombs. for any targets of opportunity that we come across. I want double ammo loads, and someone in each squad pick up a heavy snubber.

The men from Tolak's squads move quickly and with purpose, gathering their required gear and equipment as orders are issued. All too soon the men have managed to inspect and prepare their items, and store them in their transport in preparation for drop.

0400 comes along quickly. In the landing bay, High Commissar Arridan Grazvich stands in the shadow of the Valkyrie airborne carrier the Werewolves (OOC-no one came up with a name so bad luck lol)were assigned. He wears his full dress uniform, Boltgun slung over his shoulder on its strap, his huge, muscular frame and black uniform giving him a very imposing appearance, cap-badge highly polished.

Next to the first Valkyrie was a unit of Sentinel walkers allocated to the mission, grav-chutes attached to their spindly frames. Inside the Sentinel's cockpits, in addition to the normal controls, is a pressure helmet. The hangar is full of aircraft, a full squadron of Lightnings sitting on their landing, tech crews milling around the hangar floor.

A Hanger control officer moves towards the milling men and begins to bark orders.
"Board the shuttle: if late, the Commissar will want a good explanation, and his Bolter is always loaded. Give your excuses and leave his decision up to me. Now get your sorry arses on that Transport and buckle in!!"__________________

Werner stands with his assigned squad fully geared up, he cant wait to get on the planet and burn some traitors this is the mission he's been waiting for.

diocltian cackles with laughter, his mood sadistic with the anticipation of combat

Olvarix enters the hanger bay dressed in Strom Trooper Carapace with a cloak that seems to change colour when ever he moves. He marches over to where the rest of his platoon are lined up ready to board. Slips his backpack cloak off his shoulders and then begins to roll up the cloak on top of the pack, read to be attached and unfurloed when they hit the ground. Keeps his pack near his feet and then adjust the his Silver Aquila around his neck. Gives the Aquila and the silver skulls on either side of his BDU collar a quick polish with the sleeve of his jungle cammo BDU.

Olvarix checks his Bolt Pistol and Chainsword to make sure they are on safty and secures them for the comming drop. He then says Lets make this a clean drop. There will be plenty of scum for us to bring to the light of the Holy Emperor with a bullet. turns to Sergent Tolak "Sergent Tolak prepare the men to board. Make sure they have all there equipment and that nothing will come lose during the drop." He moves to the side observing his platton making preperations to board, rubbing his scar on his face thinking "Always feels like the day I got cut by the tratious bastard when ever I'm about show them the light. Bends down suddenly and opens his backpack, his helmet slips at the speed of his movement. Retrives a think leather bound book and flips to specifc page and begins to read it.

Sergeant Tolak walks past his assembled unit looking them over carefully
"aright Wolf Pack, I want an equipment check, sound of when complete" with practices precision sergeant Tolak swings up his Bolter and with one motion slides the magazine clear, his other hand guiding the weapons muzzle to point at the floor before checking the action. he proceeds to make a similar inspection of the bolt pistol on his low slung thigh holster. finally drawing his power sword and flicking the activator switch, with a low hum the crackling incandescent energies stored within the blades power pack wreath the blades fine monomolecular edge in fine arcs of electricity, a few sparks fly from the blade as it powers on, dust or dirt vaporised by the charged particles as they wreath the blade in there deadly energies. his eyes lingering on the beauty of the blade in front of him before snapping his gaze away and flicking the actuator on the handle establishing the blades energy almost instantly, before sliding it back into its sheath across his back.
looking out at the assembled troops before him Sargent Tolak grins slightly as he thinks to himself a fine bunch of men you have here, young, keen, loyal... just bring em back alive"
Pulling on the harness for his combat webbing, and checking that the carapace plates of his armour are firmly in place Tolak turns to the assembled troops
"Alpha Squad, you will be the first on the ground with me, the moment the skids touch the ground I want you out the door and clearing the LZ" with a grin his eyes fall upon the group in front of him. "lets get in, complete our objectives, kill some traitorous filth" turning his head and spitting on the ground next to him "and get home. you are the best, so act like it. I want your heads on a swivel down there. you have some latitude but if i give you an order i want it followed or commissar Olvarix will have words to you" Tolak says with a grin as he walks around behind the commissar his hand falling on his shoulder briefly
"alight Wolf pack. Mount up"

Werner checks his equipment, gives it the once over he sounds off when he's done.

moving up and standing at the base of the Valkyrie gunships loading ramp as the troop file past and take up there positions. Sargent Tolak looks out across the hangar bay. its Flight deck is a cavernous space filed with the activity troops ready for boarding, servitors, tech adepts and pilots weaving in and out from between the motley collection of transports and gunships.
"hell of an turnout for this op... every special ops unit in the fleet seems to be assembling for this one" Sergeant Tolak says quietly to himself as he turns back to his unit.

"you have any more information on what we can expect to find in this temple"Tolak says to Enginseer Edinte as they wait at the base of the ramp with Commisar Olvarix "after all any extra information could be extremely useful

Seeing Tolak walking toward and tapping him on the shoulder. Olvarix closes his book and hold it's in from of him watching the platoon walk up the ramp of the Valkyrie Gunship. He places the book back in it silk lined case and puts it back in his pack back. Carrying the pack by one it's handles he starts to walk to the entry ramp. Stoping just before the ramp watching the last few Guardsmen walk up he yells to Tolak "Are all the men and equipment checked and secured?"

"relax, this isn't my first rodeo" Tolak says as he pulls out his data slate and taps the screen a few times. Information about the platoons equipment and disposition. "we have a heavy flamer and grenade launcher as well as a dedicated marksmen in our squad... And I know how much you worry about their disipline but I know how these guys work, plus you wont find a better group of theemperors soldures this side of a suit of power armour." Tolak says with a grin "number 2, is our assult team, shotguns and close combat weapons, 3 &4 are allpourpose rifle squads, and a support squad of 2 light mortars"

Olvarix sighs and yells above the noise of the busy hangar bay "Seargent I trust your judgement when it comes to distributing and deplying the troops. We have done this many times before. But what I want to know is if all the men and their equipment have been securely stored for the drop?" His eyes moving to the last few straggling Guardsmen walking up the entry ramp. "Come all of you get up there. Make sure you secure all weapons and yoursleves. I want us to be the first " Olvarix's voice becomes more louder and inspirational, so that all in the Valkyrie Gunship can hear "to bring the wrath of the Emperor to these tainted souls. There is a full moon tonight, time to unleash these unrulely WEREWOLVES!"

Quintas moves with sudden purpose, presenting his cleaned and gleaming weaponry. The gloss and polish barely disguises the obvious battleworn markings that dot their surfaces. Once the Laspistol is inspected, he holsters it quickly, pulling his combat shotgun from his shoulder to offer it for similar inspection. In due time the Grenade launcher and his chainsword also get the once over from the Sergeant. "Sir! Weapons as ordered" with that he offers a salute and awaits dismissal.
